There's a lot of things we know about Tomo. We know that she's energetic and obnoxious. We know her incompetence is exceeded only by confidence in the abilities that she does not possess.

There is however one peculiarity of her character that I wish to draw attention to.

Tomo has charisma in spades. She radiates an almost hypnotic power to make others follow suit. Against there better judgement, anyone but Yomi will ape her hairbrained schemes.

Consider the incident of the early lunch. When Tomo decides to eat her lunch an hour early, everyone else in the class eats it along with her. The persuasive radiance and interpersonal cascade effect is so strong that Mr. Kimura goes off and thinks its time for lunch too.

Consider the graduation day. Tomo gets up and starts clapping, and THE ENTIRE SCHOOL joins in, even though by custom it wasn't appropriate at that time. Tomo has such a powerful personality that when she steps outside the norms of society, everyone else hurries to catch up.

It's just odd that she's so charismatic. People with charisma usually have more sense of social graces and politeness than a schizophrenic three-year-old.

She's an anime character.

Anime characters don't have to be realistic.

This series is many years old, and many people are now talking about others things. You don't need to forcefully make this one forum more active.

Well, for one thing, a show like Azumanga Daioh doesn't really need more than one character analysis thread in the first place. You've been starting a lot of rather similar topics. :P

That, and for a series like this, there's a firm line between character analysis and out-and-out tinhatting. That doesn't mean character analysis for this show is limited; "What were their childhoods like and how did that shape them?" to "Considering their personalities, what happens in university and onward?" to "I have a different perspective on why character A acts the way they do in page/episode X and here's my line of thinking, thoughts?" Even some light psychology, considering the reasonable character depth in Azumanga, can be good.

The point of character discussion a forum is to have fun, to spark new theories, and to further understanding of characters for all involved. It's when elements of the supernatural, the deeply psychological, and the inevitable showboating LOOK AT ME I'M DECONSTRUCTING A COMEDY SERIES I'M SO DARK AND EDGY show up that we leave character analysis and enter the realm of tinhatting and alternate character interpretation.

It's not wrong, per se. But for a lighthearted series in a lighthearted forum like Wonderland, when the discussion turns to conspiracy theories and goes too deep, it stops being fun, discussion-sparking, and thought-provoking and just sort of hits off target. It's not our cup of tea, is all. :)
