Title: Sakaki and Kagura's First Names
Sasaki-san - October 5, 2009 01:27 AM (GMT)
They're never mentioned throughout the manga or anime, but do you think the other girls ever learn them?
What do you think they might be?

For some reason I can see Sakaki having either a unisex name or a really girly name (with a -ko ending). As for Kagura, no idea. Maybe it's Kagura Kagura.

A "-ko" ending, hmm? How about Sakaki Motoko? :sakaki: Sakaki, being a tall bishoujo sort of girl, makes me think of a gentler version of Aoyama Motoko from Love Hina. ^_^
As for Kagura :kagura:, how about Kagura Miyuki? I like that name, and several other anime girls are named Miyuki. ^_^

"Sakaki" and "Kagura" are their first names. We don't know their surnames.

According to Jim Breen's dictionary, they can be either surnames or female given names.

They're probably both called ____. So to avoid confusion everyone calls them by their last names.
I wasn't witty enough to think of one.
LimeTH - October 20, 2009 09:19 PM (GMT)
As you know, "Sakaki" and "Kagura" can be both first and last names. So....
Sakaki Sakaki and Kagura Kagura. Problem solved.
EDITL: Bah, beaten to it.
