Whoops. This is why I shouldn't try maths at 5AM. I was into anime well before I ever attended Anime Central...and 2004 will be the 7th Acen...whoops. At any rate, I blame them showing Akira and Project A-Ko on the Sci-Fi channel for corrupting me.

About a year and a half seriously. (Anything before is a horrible blur of Pokemon, dubbed escaflowne, and digimon O.o)

Well, I'm around 3 years.

eto... ive watched anime w/o even realizing it (around 10ish)... from "crying freemen" to "guyver" (ghetto by the way) to pokemon... then i discovered the beauties of anime when i was 17... when i saw the whole series of "evangelion"(own) "escaflowne" "samurai X trust and betrayal(own) and "Ninja Scroll" i have over 100 gigs of anime now



eto... i saw escaflowne in japanese and i really liked it... the latest of escaflowne is ghetto though... i think its a movie... i saw that in dubbed english...

I've been watching anime for about 10 years...maybe even more.
I used to refer to it as Japanese cartoons though.
Ninja Boy ( Kabamaru Igano) , Fist of the North Star, Getta Robo , Dragonball, Sailormoon etc, were some of the first shows I ever watched.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love Escaflowne! (just check my profile!) But Fox Butchered it horribly when they showed it on TV. They cut whole episodes and then pieced the pieces together in the wrong order... <_<

I've been watching since dubbed Sailor Moon first aired around 1996, I think. I watched Astro Boy and Samurai Pizza Cats before that without knowing it was anime. ^_^

I was watching Sailor Moon about 1992, I think.
I also pretended to not watch that show, because I didn't want my sister to think I was girly or whatnot.

Pizza cats is pure quality! I loved that show!

I loved Astro Boy- after watching it my brothers and sister used to pour out the back door into the backyard to fly around and play Astro Boy!

Watched Samurai Pizza Cats with my brothers I recall...

I was a secret fan of Sailor Moon... and, er, Pikachu! But I was well into my teens by then!

So, discounting the years of my naivete, less than a year I have been qualified to call myself a fan of anime. :wub:

I've been watching anime since I was 2 (so that's about 15 years), starting with RG Veda, followed up by You're Under Arrest! They were in subs too... I could barely read!
